Week Three - Session One

Today we were presented with a number of tasks that involved us to rapidly ideate layouts for our double page spreads. This was important because it got me out my rut of designing visually similar layouts. These new layouts were then critiqued in small groups before mixing it up between portrait and landscape layouts.

With the images we have taken along with sourced images we also made a colour palette to define each location for our event - for this i pixalated one of the photographs I took for each given location.

Over the past week we were asked to continue collating images with an emphasis on background images to make our designs more interesting rather than sticking with plain colour.

One of the images I sourced was this of a chalkboard which i think relates quite closely with the market theme
